Well, the only thing I can tell you for sure about this chick is that she’s a New Jersey songwriter (and I think her real name is Lizzy Grant). Other than that… your web-stalking guesses are as good as mine. Initially attracted to this song because of the title (which happens to be my new favorite drank on the planet solely for the reason that it literally tastes like summer in your mouth), I kept listening because
1) it’s pretty freaking catchy
and
2) it’s sultry yet summery (which solidifies its place on my “summer nights” soundtrack)
The kids over at Neon Gold tell me that, genre-wise, you can label this under “surf noir”, which… well… yaaaa, I’m not sure what that means, either. But I guess it makes sense. You can also check out her MYSPACE to hear some more tracks.
